This Decode Dubai is a special edition of the challenge based on Windows OS. All participants are invited to either build new or on existing platforms/applications that runs best on a multi-touch screen with the Windows OS.

Build new or on existing platforms/applications that runs best on a multi-touch screen with the Windows OS.

Some of the below features can be integrated into your application: 

  1. Drag and drop image and video gallery of Dubai Internet City 
  2. Social media dashboard 
  3. Map of Dubai Internet City 
  4. A dashboard of all Dubai related applications 
  5. VR of the offices in Dubai Internet City 

 

Some elements you could use to achieve an interesting app:

  1. Beacons 
  2. Drone videography/photography 
  3. Access to the Dubai internet City offices and community park.

Competition hours are from 10:00am to 06:00pm on 16th April 2016.  Teams can work on wireframes and planning before the allocated completion hours.  Team may visit Dubai Internet City Building 4 Ground floor (any day and time without prior approval before the competition) to see the existing multi-touch 4K 84" screen* that highlights Dubai Internet City community

Judging Criteria

  • Representation of DIC
    Judges will select projects on the bases of Creativity, Execution, Functionality, UI/UX and Representation of Dubai Internet City. You will get 3 minutes to demo your app through Power Point Presentation followed by 2 minutes of Q&A from Judges.
